Good Morning:

Hope you are remaining safe and healthy!

After discussions with the Region of Durham Public Health, due to our increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases, here has been no change to their recommendations.  As such, the DRSA Board has made the difficult decision to continue to NOT BE PERMIT our teams to play outside of Durham Region for the 2020 -2021 Indoor Season.  In addition, DRSA teams will NOT BE PERMITTED to host teams from outside of the DRSA boundaries during the 2020-20201 Indoor Season.  Again, this decision was not made lightly.  Unfortunately, we are seeing an ever  increasing community spread COVID cases in Durham Region.  As a result, we are confident that this decision is in the best interests of both our members and our community as a whole.  Please note that since all of our Member Clubs are required to abide by this decision, any prior Playing Out Applications that were approved for the 2020- 2021 Indoor Season are immediately suspended until further notice. Further, NO AHEGS or ATFs involving teams outside of Durham Region will be approved.  Lastly, since our teams are only going to be permitted to play other teams within our District no Player Books/Team Official Books will be required so, you will not be required to drop them off at the DRSA for processing.

Given this decision, we are working on a plan regarding competition within the District for the 2020-2021 Indoor Season which, we will be communicating within the next week.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kindest regards,
