When are we receiving socks? 

Yes you will receive socks from your volunteer coach.

Will there be make-up days for the canceled sessions? 

Yes! Depending on the amount of cancellations the club will add sessions when warranted.

Where can I pick up my uniform?

Does my child need to wear cleats? 

Yes! Cleats are strongly recommended to avoid slipping and ensure the safety of all players. 

Does my child need to wear shin pads? 

Yes! Shin pads are mandatory, this is to protect your player as well as other players from injury. 

Does my child have a coach? 

Your child will have a volunteer Coach (student or parent)

How do I find out who my child coach is? 

When you log into the Playmetric App you will see who the coach is for your team once teams are set up. Check in May.

How do I get into contact with my child's coach? 

When you log into the Playmetric App you will see who the coach is for your team and their contact

 My team has a rotating schedule but I am unable to coach on my day, what do I do? 

Reach out to your team and see if anyone is able to cover your day. 

I want to be the coach for my players team, what do I do? 

Reach out to the soccer club and we will get you set up. 

If it rains will soccer be canceled? 

Rain alone will not constitute games being canceled. In extreme cases of prolonged rain the town of Ajax may decide to close the soccer fields, which in turn would mean that classes are canceled.  If this is the case you will receive an email notification. 

Will games be canceled if there is lightning or thunder? 

If the lightning and thunder start when you are already at the field the referee will make an on field decision. If there is lightning and thunder before your designated game time please continuously check your email for any updates from the Ajax SC. 

Are there any additional fees or expenses I should be aware of?

Unless you are replacing your uniform, socks, or soccer ball there are no additional fees other than your registration fee. 

What equipment does my child need for soccer, and where can I find it?

Your player will need cleats and shin pads you can find these at many retail store both in person and online (Amazon, Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Walmart, etc) 

Who are the coaches, and what are their qualifications?

All of our House League coaches are parent /student volunteers and they are not required to have any qualification. We are just looking for an enthusiastic parent/student who loves the games and wants to coach.

Is there a process for providing feedback or suggestions to the coaches and team organizers?

Please feel free to email us with any suggestions you may have. The field convenors also have parent suggestion forms with them at the fields which you are welcome to fill out. 

What are the guidelines for appropriate sideline behavior during games?

We ask that everyone be respectful and show good sportsmanship. 

How are the teams made? 

After we close registration we do our best to ensure that the teams are well mixed and that all teams have the same or about the same number of players each. 

Can my player play with their friend? 

If you submit your player request form before the deadline it will be accommodated. If it is submitted after the deadline we cannot guarantee that the two players will play together but we will try our best to ensure they do. 

My players does not like their team. Can they switch? 

If the season has already started we can not guarantee that we will be able to put your player on a different team but definitely reach out and we will do our best.
